Teaching, Improving, and Proofing Your Backside Jump Skills – Slices, Wraps, Serps, Germans, Etc.
Whether you are starting this skill from step one or you are looking to build better understanding of the verbal cue, independence, or better discriminations this class is the place to be. Perfect for small spaces. To get the most out of this class your dog should be able to wrap a cone or barrel on a verbal cue (without help from your body cues). The class will start with a “how to wrap a barrel lesson”. Two wing jumps, a barrel/cone, and a tunnel will be used (if you do not have access to all of this equipment we can substitute), and not a ton of space. - $65
Teaching a Jump Threadle on a Verbal Cue: Slices and Wraps

Building the BEST Weaves EVER!
I love training and proofing weaves and they are an obstacle where having independent skills, and confidence in your dog’s abilities can be a game changer. Spend some of your summer time taking your dog’s weave skills to the next level!
This class will be geared towards teams already proficient on twelve weaves (this class will *not* be teaching dogs how to weave). The class will be broken up into several “topics” (ie rear crosses, entries, exits, opposing motion, blind crosses, distance, layering, etc). Each topic will be broken down into short training/proofing exercises followed by sequences/drills to practice your new skills.
The class will utilize channel weaves and guide wires to demo and troubleshoot. Gates are also a suitable substitute for guide wires, but it is suggested that to get the most out of class you have a way to troubleshoot and help your dog learn new concepts. If you are unsure if this is the right class for you or your dog does not know guides/channels/gates please reach out. You do not need a ton of space for this class, probably 40x40’ would be super, and a wing jump and tunnel. We can always substitute and find ways to make things work. Some exercises will only need six or four, or sometimes even two poles, some will use all twelve. - $85
Please feel to reach out if you are unsure or have any questions.
CLASS INFO:
Each class will run on a Facebook platform. If you are not a social media user I’ve had many students that just make a FB account under their dog’s name and only use it for class. You are encouraged to post videos for instructor feedback, ask questions, etc as often as you like.
Each class will start July 15th. Lessons will be posted weekly (or sooner). Basically as soon as the content is created I will post the lessons so that you do not have to wait each week for a new lesson. Feedback, questions and video review will be accepted from July 15th through September 15th, but the content will be “lifetime access”.
Holler if you have any questions! Contact me for registration.
