Two December clinics to help bring out the best in your and your canine teammate! Sequences, exercises, and drills to help focus on the small stuff that can make big changes in your teamwork.
This clinic will definitely be part handling *and* part training, and you *will* go home with homework too.
Open to all levels, but dogs should be sequencing comfortably on jumps/tunnels. Each team will work at their level and their will be plenty of challenges for all.

Learn the basics of navigating your partner around an agility course. This clinic will focus on prepping teams for novice agility trials starting with the foundations of handling. Execution and timing of crosses, consistency with cues, and helping your dog understand what all these things mean with proper foundations.
Bring your puppies (age appropriate skills), young dogs and beginner dogs. Older dogs that need to fill in some gaps are welcome too!
If you are unsure if this is right for your team please contact Bridget first... bridget@dogstar-agility.com

Very, very few of us can actually outrun our dogs. My goal as a trainer is to have as many skills as possible to convey what I need on any given course. And sometimes, that is distance, and even layering of other obstacles.
Big or small, speed demon or casual weekend warrior, all dogs can learn to happily work at a distance given the right training and reinforcement.
Spend the morning building skills and working through some distance puzzles to get you started. Leave with lots of homework too! Training and handling in this clinic.
All levels welcome. Each team will work at their level. Challenges for beginner distance learners and for seasoned "Gamblers" too!
